Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a friendly receptionist who will be the first point of contact for clients, manage multi-line calls, greet pet owners with compassion, and help coordinate appointments. You will also handle records, billing, and teamwork to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

You will educate clients on preventive care and hospital services while supporting a nationwide network and a strong culture of care.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with ability to work independently.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions by managing a multi-line phone system and greeting clients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage appointment schedules.
• Handle financial transactions and ensure smooth hospital operations.
• Educate clients on preventive care and veterinary services; advocate for pet health.
