Job summary

Auburn University College Of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Veterinary Customer Services Representative I/II to perform clerical duties related to veterinary care and support our clinical teams.

You will welcome clients, register animals, coordinate admissions and discharges, manage records, and communicate with referring veterinarians; this role is primarily based in Vaughan Large Animal Teaching Hospital with cross-training in the Small Animal Hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes clients to the hospital, registers animals in need of medical attention, and verifies demographics.
• Gathers records, compiles medical records, and alerts clinical personnel of patient arrival.
• Directs clients to appropriate areas and ensures the visit is successful.
• Communicates with the clinical team regarding patient and client needs.
• Handles calls, schedules appointments, and provides information on procedures and processes.
