Job summary

Griffith Veterinary Hospital in Westland, MI recently moved into a brand new facility with state-of-the-art equipment as of February 2024. The CSR role supports client interactions, maintains records, schedules appointments, and handles payments to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, the CSR applies veterinary record knowledge and keeps processes efficient while ensuring every client and patient receives top-tier service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on weekends as required.
• OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening and closing procedures per Manager instructions.
• Keep front desk, reception, waiting area, offices and exam rooms clean and presentable.
• Process cash, checks, and card payments; manage credits.
• Schedule clinic appointments per Doctor preferences and workflow.
• Update client/patient files and send client correspondence.
• Send reminders and perform timely recalls from a callback list.
• Backup and post daily business entries.
• Greet clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor to ensure a great visit.
• Answer incoming phone calls with proper etiquette.
• Provide medications, instructions, kits and take-home items to clients.
• Handle emergencies with care and according to clinic policies.
• Address client concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction.
