Job summary

West Lafayette Veterinary Care is seeking a Client Service Representative to deliver exceptional client experiences while handling front desk duties and practice administration. The role supports patient care by coordinating appointments, records, and communications with clients and team members.

The CSR will manage reception, maintain medical records, process payments, and assist in daily operations with a calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Availability to work mornings starting at 6:45 am 3 days per week.
• Ability to work on weekends as required (2 weekends per month).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Client satisfaction references preferred.
• OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Manager instructions.
• Maintains front desk, reception, waiting area, office and exam rooms.
• Processes cash, checks, card payments and credit accounts.
• Schedules clinic appointments per Doctor preferences and workflow.
• Updates client/patient files and sends client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices and follows up with clients.
• Backs up computer system and posts daily business.
• Greet clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor.
• Answers incoming calls with proper etiquette.
• Presents medications and take-home items to clients.
• Handles emergencies following clinic policies.
