Qualifications

• One year of experience in veterinary or human medical practice preferred.
• Minimum two years’ customer service experience required.
• Must possess basic math skills to handle deposits, payments and receipts.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus.
• Excellent communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners in person and over the phone.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, record keeping and invoicing.
• Respond with compassion in stressful situations.
• Maintain a clean, stocked and orderly lobby and front office area.
• Educate clients on wellness plans and products sold in the waiting room.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and end-of-day reports.
