Job summary

Milford Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our hospital, handling front-desk duties, scheduling, and client communications with compassion. The role supports clients through routine and emotional situations in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours with a 5/8 schedule, primarily Monday–Friday and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary hospital, receptionist or client service role is required.
• Proficiency with a multi-phone line system and assisting in-person clients.
• Experience with Cornerstone veterinary practice management software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage front-desk interactions.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and calendar flow.
• Answer multi-line phones and assist in-person clients.
• Process payments and maintain financial records.
• Provide information about services and support clients compassionately.
