Job summary

Veritas Veterinary Partners in Denver is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our growing specialty team. You will greet clients, schedule appointments, and manage billing while coordinating with veterinarians and staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required; veterinary front-desk experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, specialty environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional, compassionate, and client-focused demeanor
• Comfortable using computer systems for scheduling, billing, and medical records
• Billing, accounts receivable, or pet insurance claims experience preferred
• Comfortable discussing estimates and costs with clients clearly
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients in a professional, welcoming manner
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage referrals for surgical and specialty services
• Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information
• Prepare and review treatment estimates with clients, including surgical estimates and required deposits
• Ensure all services and charges are accurately captured on invoices, working with the medical team to resolve discrepancies
• Process payments, deposits, refunds, and account adjustments according to hospital policy
• Assist clients with payment plans and third-party financing options
• Complete daily transaction reconciliation and end-of-day close-out reports
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients on outstanding balances
• Assist clients with pet insurance claims and required documentation
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments, directions, and general service information
• Support client education and follow-up communication as directed by the medical team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front desk and lobby area
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and assistants to ensure excellent client experience
