VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) is seeking a Nursing Trainer in Chantilly, Virginia. You will lead with curiosity, coach with compassion, and develop clinicians across the emergency medicine spectrum. Your impact spans on‑the‑floor mentoring and strategic development within VEG hospitals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program strongly preferred.
Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of VEG practice; VTS in ECC/IM/anesthesia a plus.
Willingness to travel to other VEG hospitals for onboarding as needed.

Responsibilities

Identify individual and team training needs in partnership with hospital leadership.
Assess assistants and credentialed technicians through observation and immersion.
Lead VEG Cultivate program advancement and VEG training initiatives.
Serve as the go‑to training lead at your hospital and develop tailored on‑floor mentoring.
Create and refine training content (presentations, videos, simulations, assessments).
Ensure training aligns with VEG culture and emergency standards of care.
