Geary Veterinary Hospital in Walnut Creek is seeking a friendly Client Service Representative to join our collaborative, patient-focused team. You’ll welcome clients and their pets, manage check-in/check-out, answer calls, schedule appointments, and ensure visits run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a warm, confident approach to client communication.
• Ability to respond calmly and constructively to challenging client situations.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and confidence managing appointments, messages, and records.
• A dependable, collaborative approach and enthusiasm for learning.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets, manage check-in and check-out, and help visits run smoothly.
• Answer calls, respond to enquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages accurately.
• Gather client and patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Process payments and support clear communication about invoices and next steps.
• Respond calmly and empathetically to client concerns, involving the appropriate team member when needed.
• Recognize potentially urgent concerns and promptly alert the clinical team.
• Share updates and explain veterinarian-approved care and discharge instructions.
