The CSR will manage check-in/out, records, scheduling, and payments while communicating clearly about services and vaccines; assist with inventory and maintain a tidy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with animals preferred; veterinary or animal care valued.
• Basic computer proficiency with email, practice management software, and Microsoft Office.
• Able to perform basic math for cash handling and scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients warmly with professional, empathetic service.
• Check-in and check-out efficiently; liaison with staff on patient status.
• Maintain client communications via phone, email, and mail.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; triage based on urgency.
• Explain hospital services, wellness care, vaccinations, diagnostics, and aftercare.
• Handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure charges are captured.
• Process payments and refunds; handle Care Credit and card terminals.
• Assist with over-the-counter product sales and inventory.
• Support veterinarians, technicians, and Practice Manager with tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe hospital environment; follow safety protocols.
