Job summary

Pieper Veterinary in Middletown, Connecticut is seeking a Client Service Representative focused on Primary Care to join our veterinary team. This full-time role handles client interactions with empathy in a busy hospital setting, with responsibilities including scheduling, processing prescriptions, and facilitating smooth clinic operations.

Prior veterinary customer service is preferred; EzyVet and Smartflow experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary setting.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology or willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and staff.
• Ability to stay calm and empathetic with clients and their pets.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients in person and on the phone to schedule and answer questions.
• Process prescriptions and fill medications for clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and appointment flow.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
