Commencement Bay Animal Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our busy veterinary team. You will be the first contact for clients, manage appointments, and support veterinarians with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare customer service or reception role.
• Veterinary experience is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Scheduling flexibility.
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in a busy veterinary environment.
• Familiarity with AVImark preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of communication for clients.
• Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate service in person and over the phone.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments accurately.
• Relay details clearly to the medical team.
• Use multi-line phone systems, email, and practice software.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and team members.
