Pieper Veterinary in Middletown, CT is seeking a Second Shift Client Service Representative to join our Specialty, Emergency and Primary Care practice. You will help create a positive client experience from the moment clients enter the waiting room and support a busy hospital environment.

We value teamwork, clear communication, and a calm, empathetic approach to clients and their pets. Expect 5-day work weeks, 8-hour shifts from 3:30pm to 12am, with weekends and holidays required, and

• Experience in a customer service role preferred
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology or willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Warm, friendly, empathetic approach to clients and their pets
• Ability to handle challenging client situations with tact and patience
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration with veterinarians, technicians and staff

We know that a positive client experience starts as soon as our clients enter the waiting room and Pieper Veterinary is seeking kind compassionate and detail oriented Second Shift Client Service Representatives to join our fantastic team of veterinary professionals in our Specialty Emergency and Primary Care practice in Middletown Connecticut Our vision is simply to make the community and people and animals happier and healthier and we need you to help us accomplish that

About You

We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport and our ideal candidate is someone who feels the same Communication is key in our industry and we are looking for people who navigate both client and interpersonal communication with skill and ease We are seeking a Client Service Representatives who will thrive in a fast paced high volume setting Our ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm during emotional and stressful situations as well as the ability to handle patients on a leash or in a carrier Experience with EzyVet and Smartflow are an additional plus but not required We highly value collaboration from all staff members so please speak up as your input is not only valued but can make a difference

Anticipated Schedule

5 days a week 8 hour shifts 330pm 12am Weekends and Holidays are required

Compensation

Based on experience 1875 2475 an hour

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferably in a veterinary setting is preferred
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology or a willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and staff
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a warm friendly and empathetic approach to clients and their pets
• Ability to handle challenging client situations with tact patience and understanding
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
