Client Service Representative / Veterinary Assistant

Long Island Animal Hospital - Westbury, New York

Pay range up to $23/hr depending on experience

Long Island Animal Hospital is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a cross-trained receptionist/veterinary assistant position in a small general practice (dog and cat), with a family like atmosphere, located in Westbury, NY. Our assistants are valuable members of our medical teams and play a crucial role in patient care and client service. You will work closely with doctors and technicians to increase the efficiency within our hospital as well as the level of care we provide as a team. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Making appointments

• Constantly advance your knowledgebase and skill set

Compensation

• Up to $23/hour depending on experience

• Must be able to anticipate and be detail oriented due to the high level of quality medicine. Must be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work on feet most of the day.
