Job summary

Animal Wellness Center in Crozet, VA is hiring a Veterinary Client Service Representative to be the first friendly face for clients and patients. You will handle front-desk duties, scheduling, records, and payments while supporting a compassionate team of veterinarians and technicians.

We value organized, service-driven individuals who enjoy helping people and animals. Prior veterinary CSR experience is a plus, but outstanding customer service skills from other fields are welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend availability as needed.
• Previous veterinary reception experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service experience in veterinary, medical, hospitality, retail, or another client-focused environment is welcomed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Obtain and document accurate patient histories.
• Process invoices and payments accurately.
• Verify vaccination status and required testing.
• Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with doctors and technical staff.
• Prepare prescriptions, prescription diets, and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client information.
• Support daily hospital operations to ensure a seamless client experience.

What You'll Do

As one of the first people our clients interact with, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive experience for every patient and pet owner.
