Animal Wellness Center in Crozet, VA is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team as a full-time frontline member. You will interact with clients and patients, schedule appointments, manage records, and assist with daily hospital operations.

The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, service-focused, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn our systems. Experience in veterinary settings is a plus, and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary reception experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service experience in veterinary, medical, hospitality, retail, or another client-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Obtain and document accurate patient histories.
• Process invoices and payments accurately.
• Verify vaccination status and required testing.
• Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with doctors and technical staff.
• Prepare prescriptions, prescription diets, and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client information.
• Support daily hospital operations to ensure a seamless client experience.

What You'll Do

As one of the first people our clients interact with, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive experience for every patient and pet owner.
