AmeriVet seeks a personable Client Service Representative to be the first contact at our Sun Valley clinic. You will handle calls, greet clients, and support staff while safeguarding accurate pet records and patient information.

The role requires weekend/holiday availability, strong cash handling, and excellent customer service. Training, benefits, and a collaborative team environment await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Professional and friendly phone etiquette.
• Available to work weekends and holiday rotations.
• Ability to properly prioritize and complete tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to problem solve and adapt to multiple situations.
• HS Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer efficiency; proficient with software systems.
• Very detail-oriented.
• Experience with Veterinary EMR (Avimark, Cornerstone) preferred.
• One year of customer service representative experience preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understands, communicates, and prioritizes appointments, education, and lobby triage for vaccine, wellness, parasite, and retail needs.
• Operates multi-line telephone system; handles calls, holds, transfers, and paging.
• Empathizes with clients and remains calm in emergencies.
• Accepts payments and manages a cash drawer accurately.
• Maintains updated client and pet records and supports administrative tasks.
