Heartland Veterinary Partners in DeKalb, IL is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an exceptional client experience while handling front-desk duties and practice administration. This role supports record maintenance, appointment tracking, and cash processing to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The CSR will manage reception, patient records, reminders, and client communications, with a 4-day work week and 2-3 Saturdays monthly, contributing to a collaborative team that values

Qualifications

• Weekend work required, including 2-3 Saturdays per month.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Veterinary experience preferred.
• Customer service references preferred.
• OSHA safety practices including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures.
• Maintains front desk and reception areas, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.
• Processes cash, checks, card payments and credit accounts.
• Schedules appointments for the clinic adhering to Doctor preferences and workflow.
• Updates client/patient files and handles client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices and conducts follow-ups with clients as needed.
• Performs daily data entry, posting, and documentation of visits.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm demeanor to ensure an excellent visit.
• Answers incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette.
