Job summary

Capital District Veterinary Referral Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team in Latham, NY. This full-time role schedules four 9-hour shifts weekly (Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, 4p-1a) and offers a base rate from $22 to $28 per hour plus a $3.50 overnight differential.

You’ll greet clients, manage records, and coordinate with the medical staff to deliver outstanding client service. Applicants should have strong customer service experience, be organized, and enjoy working

• Previous customer service, client care, reception, or administrative experience required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients, patients, and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
• Educate clients and referring veterinarians about hospital services.
• Provide support and guidance to clients in person and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments efficiently within our multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital.
