Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Receptionist in Plainview, NY. This full-time role runs three 12-hour overnight shifts from 7 p.m.

to 7 a.m., with a starting wage of around $20+ per hour and benefits commensurate with knowledge and experience. Responsibilities include welcoming clients, coordinating admissions, handling scheduling and billing, and supporting the medical team with patient updates.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Veterinary hospital experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organized, and compassionate.
• Fluent in English speaking and reading.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and provide professional, compassionate customer service.
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and client updates.
• Answer phone calls and assist clients with questions and scheduling needs.
• Support medication refill requests and client communication.
• Review invoices and assist with payment processing.
• Maintain organization and accuracy in a fast-paced specialty and emergency veterinary hospital.
• Partner with medical teams to ensure clients feel informed and supported throughout their pet’s care.
