Job summary

Medway Animal Hospital is seeking a personable Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the first contact at our clinic. You will help ensure every client interaction, over the phone or in person, leaves a positive and memorable impression while guiding them through appointments and services.

As the front-line liaison, you will manage calls, schedule visits, handle payments, maintain records, and support staff with courteous communication and organized workflows.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Professional and friendly phone etiquette.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to problem solve and adapt to multiple situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Very detail-oriented.
• Preferred: Experience with Veterinary EMR systems (Impromed, Cornerstone, Ezyvet).
• Preferred: One year of customer service representative experience.
• Preferred: Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and route messages for staff.
• Provide clients with information, including hospital policies and services.
• Schedule outpatient, surgical, and hospitalized appointments.
• Enter and retrieve records, update client and patient files.
• Adhere to hospital policies and communicate basic care protocols.
• Handle payments and balance cash drawer at day end.
• Maintain front desk reception areas and support staff.
