Callaway County Small Animal Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an exceptional client experience while handling front desk duties, scheduling, records, and payments. Reporting to the Practice Manager, the CSR supports veterinarians and staff, greets clients, manages calls, reminders, and communications, and helps maintain a smooth workflow in a busy clinic.

The role emphasizes professional communication, accurate record keeping, patient care

Qualifications

• Weekend availability as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Client satisfaction references preferred.
• OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures.
• Maintain clean, presentable public areas and front desk.
• Process cash, checks, charge payments and credit accounts.
• Schedule appointments for the clinic adhering to practice and Doctor preferences.
• Assist in updating client/patient files and sending correspondence.
• Send reminder notices to clients for periodic notifications; conduct re-calls to clients.
• Backup the computer system as directed.
• Post daily business activities.
• Greet clients with a warm, friendly demeanor and ensure a positive visit.
• Answer incoming calls with proper etiquette.
• Present medications, instructions, and take-home items to clients.
• Handle emergencies following clinic policies and procedures.
• Address client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
