AmeriVet is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Pagosa Springs, CO. As the first and last point of contact, you will manage appointments, answer calls and emails, and ensure smooth communication between clients and our medical team.

You will use our practice management system to update records and assist with billing and payments. You will greet clients warmly, listen actively, triage inquiries, and convey empathy in all interactions while supporting promotions and online booking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to provide compassionate, client-focused service.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
• Basic proficiency with technology, including scheduling software and online communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails promptly with professional, friendly service.
• Schedule appointments and manage reminders to keep clients and pets on track.
• Gather medical information with active listening and triage inquiries.
• Promote current promotions and campaigns to inform clients.
• Update client and patient records accurately in the practice management system.
• Process billing transactions and accept various payment methods.
• Assist with daily practice operations and maintain a welcoming reception area.
