Job summary

The University of Minnesota seeks a leadership-level professional to oversee the Veterinary Medical Center's Customer Contact Center. You will supervise a team handling client communications, electronic medical record practices, and payment processing across SAH, Piper Equine, and the Companion Animal Teaching Clinic.

You will drive staff development, establish training, and coordinate schedules for three locations, ensuring top-tier client service and operational efficiency in a university

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) plus a minimum of four (4) years of related professional experience.
• OR a combination of education and work experience totaling at least eight (8) years.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and manage the work of the Customer Contact Center service staff.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily activities and schedules for staff.
• Review and analyze data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
• Oversee front desk greeting and identify client needs across locations.
• Triaging calls and scheduling service-specific appointments and procedures.
• Maintain and improve staff procedures and reference materials.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance client service and maintain competitive edge.
• Coordinate training and onboarding for staff, including student team members.
• Monitor and adjust staffing levels to ensure coverage across three locations including 24/7 hospital.

Education

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) + 4 years experience
