PetVet Care Centers' Animal Medical Center of Cumming is seeking Veterinary Receptionists (Care Coordinators) to join their team at a full-service practice in Cumming, GA. The role blends administrative tasks with client service to support hospital operations and patient care.

As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be part of a collaborative team backed by national support, delivering compassionate care to patients and a high level of service to clients.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy hospital front-desk environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good listening and comprehension abilities.
• Proficient telephone etiquette and handling.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and scheduling.
• Must love animals!

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in stressful situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and explains services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice software, including billing.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day financial tasks.
