Qualifications

• Ability to perform NAVTA-approved assistant duties per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and technicians to ensure quality care.
• Educate clients on pet health and wellness plans.
• Maintain clean, safe hospital environment and proper medical charts.
• Assist with procedures and prepare work for others as needed.
• Monitor hospitalized or surgical pets and ensure client comfort.
• Mentor junior paraprofessionals in the hospital.
