Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program certificate or equivalent education/experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure safety of pets, clients, and staff.
• Maintain flow of patients and communicate with veterinarians and vet techs.
• Set up procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Keep examination rooms and labs clean and organized and adhere to hospital standards.
