Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients in a professional, friendly, and empathetic manner
- Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage clinic communications
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate records
- Provide general information regarding services, policies, and preventative care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Veterinary Assistant Duties
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient handling and restraint
- Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas before and after appointments
- Clean, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment
- Support basic laboratory tasks and inventory stocking as directed
- Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the clinic
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous veterinary, animal care, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable working with animals of varying sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Basic computer and phone system proficiency
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs with assistance when needed
- Comfortable bending, kneeling, and reaching regularly
- Ability to safely restrain animals with guidance and training
- Fast-paced veterinary clinic setting
- Exposure to animals, cleaning agents, and medical equipment
- Occasional emotional or urgent situations involving pets and clients

Wage: $15.50-$17.75 DOE
