Job summary

Bond Vet is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to join our expanding network of clinics. You will work closely with veterinarians and vet techs to deliver compassionate care to pets and their families, scribes during visits, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

The role is full-time (40 hrs/week) with a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts. Benefits include competitive pay, team profit sharing, mental health support, and opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant.
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with ability to multitask efficiently.
• Typing proficiency and experience using multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for veterinarians during visits.
• Support medical team with surgeries, x-rays, treatments and procedures.
• Restrain and handle pets for exams with compassion.
• Record and report patient symptoms.
• Clean, restock and maintain clinic areas and exam rooms.
• Explain pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients.
• Assist with client interactions, scheduling and education as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders.
