Job summary

Bond Vet is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will support veterinarians and vet techs, scribe during visits, assist with procedures, and help with exams while providing compassionate care to pets and their families.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role with a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts. Strong communication, attention to detail, comfort with computer systems, and a passion for pets are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask with accuracy

Responsibilities

• Scribe for veterinarians during visits
• Assist with surgeries, x-rays, treatments and other procedures
• Restrain and handle pets for exams and procedures
• Record and report patient symptoms
• Restock and maintain clinic areas and exam rooms
• Explain pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients
• Assist with client interactions, scheduling, and education
• Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders
