Job summary

Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics with a mission to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. A Veterinary Assistant joins a cohesive team to provide compassionate care, support veterinarians and vet techs, and help with experiences during visits.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, offering opportunities for growth, tuition assistance, and a supportive, pet-centered workplace in the

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as veterinary or kennel assistant.
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for Veterinarians during visits.
• Support medical team with surgeries, x-rays, treatments and other procedures.
• Compassionately handle and restrain pets for exams.
• Record and report patient symptoms.
• Clean, restock and maintain clinic areas and exam rooms.
• Communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans to guide the client visit.
• Assist with client interactions, walk-ins, calls, scheduling, and education as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders.
