Bond Vet is seeking a proactive Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will support veterinarians, scribe during visits, assist with procedures, and help deliver compassionate care to pets and clients.

This is a full-time (40 hrs/week) position with a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week. We offer competitive pay and opportunities for tuition assistance and team profit sharing to support your growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask accurately
• Proficient typing and using multiple computer systems during visits
• A passion for pets and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Scribe for veterinarians during visits
• Assist with surgeries, x-rays, treatments and procedures
• Restraint of pets for exams
• Record and report patient symptoms
• Restock and maintain clinic areas
• Explain pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients
• Support client interactions, walk-ins, calls, scheduling and education
