Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients arriving for appointments, obtain weight and vital signs, and record the electronic medical record.
• Assist doctors with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform patient restraint, obtain and process laboratory samples, handle and dispense medications as directed, and maintain the EMR.
• Schedule appointments, provide client education, relay test results, and maintain records.
• Prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures and monitor anesthesia; assist during recovery and discharge.
