Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year veterinary practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients arriving for appointments, obtain weight and vital signs, and record the EMR/histories.
• Assist doctors with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Handle restraints, process laboratory samples, and dispense medications as directed.
• Schedule appointments, provide client education, relay test results, and maintain records.
• Assist in anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Under supervision, perform in-hospital treatments including medications and IV fluids; ensure patient care and safety.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge as required.
• Keep hospital environment neat and clean and follow maintenance schedules.
