Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care, handling, restraint, monitoring, and comfort.
• Obtain patient histories and other relevant information.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Collect blood, urine, and other diagnostic samples as directed.
• Perform basic diagnostic testing (blood work, urinalysis) based on experience.
• Prepare laboratory samples for analysis.
• Maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build positive client relationships.
• Educate clients regarding patient care, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and reception to maintain workflow.

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

• Assist with patient care, handling, restraint, monitoring, and comfort

• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and reception team members to maintain an efficient daily workflow
• Jump in wherever needed to support excellent patient and client care
