The Premier Veterinary Group is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant for our new facility in Mundelein, IL.

Position Overview: This entry-level role supports veterinary medical staff with responsibilities including record keeping, animal restraint and husbandry, administering oral medications, stocking supplies, and maintaining workspace safety and cleanliness. It serves as a stepping stone to the Veterinary Technician level.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time
• Evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays required
• Starting at $16+ per hour, based on experience

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of related experience
• Ability to understand and apply procedures, regulations, and policies
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and work ethic
• Ability to handle animals weighing up to 50 pounds
• Effective communication skills
