Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) in Chicago, IL is seeking a Physical Health and Wellness Screening Specialist to recruit warriors for PH&W programs, screen participants, and empower wounded service members toward physical health and adaptive sports goals.

The role provides comprehensive screening, needs assessment, and coordination of internal and external resources to support warriors and enhance their well-being.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in fitness, health management, wellness coaching, or related fields.
• Experience designing programs and coordinating health and wellness activities.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit warriors for PH&W programs and related events.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to support warriors.
• Plan and execute recruitment events and welcome calls.
• Develop content to assess readiness and guide program participation.
• Lead program marketing initiatives and awareness materials.
• Manage data in systems like Salesforce and Blackthorn.
• Deliver virtual programming content via Teams and social platforms.
