Wounded Warrior Project, Inc. is seeking a Check-In Connector to support the Veteran Wellness Alliance and WWP programs. You will collaborate with peers to connect veterans to high-quality mental health care and coordinate needs assessments with empathy and efficiency.

This role requires strong communication, trauma-informed understanding, and the ability to travel as needed to support VWA and WWP programs. Join a mission-driven team focused on meaningful impact.

Qualifications

Demonstrated understanding of psychological and mental health issues.
Understanding of military and veteran issues and related trauma.
Strong communication and relationship-management abilities.
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with VWA peers to connect veterans with high-quality mental health care.
Serve as primary contact for VWA peer network members and respond to needs assessments.
Perform comprehensive needs assessments of referred veterans' mental and brain health.
Triage referrals and coordinate warm handoffs to clinical providers.
Maintain data in WWP databases and ensure timely reporting to leadership.
