Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology or Human Services or related field preferred or equivalent in years of experience.
• 1+ years in a social service agency or customer service environment; experience with veterans a plus.
• Must maintain regular attendance as determined by employer.
• Driver’s license with clear record; must have daily use of a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develops relationships with program participants using trauma-informed care and strength-based approaches.
• Conducts community outreach to engage participants.
• Performs initial eligibility screenings and maintains a database of community resources.
• Completes intake for eligible participants and sets up client files for Case Managers.
• Develops partnerships with employers and community organizations to support employment goals.
• Represents the program in community meetings and delivers presentations.
