Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern California and Northern Nevada (VOA-NCNN) is recruiting for a full-time Case Manager on the SSVF team to support very low-income Veteran families toward permanent housing.

Under general supervision, you will develop case management plans, maintain files, coordinate with the Veterans Administration and community partners, monitor progress toward housing goals, and ensure program compliance. This 4x10 schedule includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is preferred.
• Three years of experience with homeless populations highly preferred.
• CPR and First Aid training within ninety days of employment.
• A valid California driver's license and the ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain case management files and plans.
• Coordinate with VA, other agencies, and community partners.
• Assist clients toward securing housing and employment.
• Record keeping and compliance with SSVF policies and funding.
