Proudly Serving Those Who Served We are currently hiring a full time Laundry Aide for our 700 AM 300 PM or 300 PM 1100 PM shift at our skilled nursing facility for veterans in Humboldt Tennessee We invite you to join our team of talented caring professionals that take pride in serving the veterans of Tennessee Our State Veterans Homes are consistently ranked among the top nursing homes in the nation because our dedicated team goes above and beyond to ensure every resident receives the highest quality of care possible As an organization we are passionate about creating an outstanding workplace for our employees ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following Other duties may be assigned Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Sort and separate laundry items according to color fabric type and care instructions Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washing machines and dryers Load and unload laundry machines ensuring proper weights and settings are used Use appropriate cleaning agents and laundry products to remove stains and odors Check and treat items for stains and damages before laundering Inspect and fold cleaned laundry items ensuring they are properly sorted and stored Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and inform the supervisor when additional supplies are needed Assist with the delivery of clean laundry to the appropriate areas or individuals Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the laundry area Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service
