Job summary

The Minnesota Veterans Home – Minneapolis seeks an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead the facility's operations and ensure high-quality resident care. You will provide strategic and managerial oversight, integrate with MDVA guidelines, and supervise a team across departments to maintain compliant, efficient, and compassionate service.

Required licensure includes an active NHA license and the ability to obtain MN BELTTS by hire date, along with at least five years of healthcare

Qualifications

• Active and in good standing Nursing Home Administrator license; ability to obtain MN BELTTS license by date of hire.
• Five years of experience in a healthcare operational leadership role (e.g., CEO/COO/Director) including experience as a licensed NHA; experience managing human and fiscal resources and QA functions.

Administer and be responsible for the overall operations of the Minnesota Veterans Home – Minneapolis (MVH-Minneapolis). Provide leadership, general managerial supervision, continuous improvements and integration to the MDVA Healthcare Central Office goals and administrative functions to include but not limited to Direct Resident Care and all areas associated with Direct Resident Care that enhance the life quality of residents.

Licensure/Experience Requirements*

• An active and in good standing Nursing Home Administrator license from any state and must have the ability to obtain a license in MN with the MN Board of Executives for Long Term Services and Supports (MN BELTTS) by date of hire.
• Five years of experience in a healthcare operational leadership role such as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Director or Operations Director, including experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. To qualify, your experience must include managing human and fiscal resources and quality assurance functions/program.
