Community Action Partnership of Dickinson in Dickinson, North Dakota seeks a Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Case Manager to coordinate day‑to‑day operations of the SSVF program and assist with client services.

The role includes intake for eligibility, outreach, case management, and preparation of reports while traveling as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to support veterans and their families.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Human Service or related field.
Two years full‑time experience in the Human Service field.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Demonstrated ability to establish positive rapport with staff, clients, other agencies, businesses and the community.
Experience planning and presenting workshops and informational sessions.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Proficient with Windows, Internet and Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of client-tracking HMIS program within 3 months of hire.
Certification as Family Development Specialist or obtain within 2 years.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day‑to‑day operations of the agency’s SSVF program.
Assist Program Director within budget constraints.
Prepare statistical and narrative reports for Agency, Government and Grant requirements.
Provide case management including case notes, assessments, referrals and goals/actions.
Provide outreach within the respective Region.
Maintain client tracking records and program files.
Conduct intake to determine SSVF eligibility.
Travel to meetings and trainings as required.
Supervise volunteers and manage program inventory.
Assist with grant writing and grant management.
