Loyal Source is seeking an Examiner Nurse Practitioner in Gulfport, MS to conduct VA Compensation & Pension disability examinations. This is not a treating role; the focus is on reviewing records, performing focused exams, and providing objective medical opinions to support disability determinations.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with holidays closed; travel about 10% to support other Loyal Source clinics. A NP license and BLS are required, with at least one year of experience.

Formación

• Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by a DOE-recognized institution.
• Active, valid, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• Minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe PDF, and EMR systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States and meet federal contractor requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans per VA requirements.
• Review medical records, tests, and supporting docs before and during exams.
• Perform focused physical assessments related to claimed conditions.
• Prepare objective medical opinions and accurate documentation.
• Use proprietary systems to organize workload and submit findings.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure timely, complete reports.
• Maintain VA training, HIPAA, privacy, and Loyal Source policies.
• Support other Loyal Source clinics with ~10% travel.
