Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension exams for Veterans’ disability claims. The role includes reviewing records, conducting focused exams, and drafting objective medical opinions in line with VA requirements.

Travel up to 10% to other Loyal Source clinics may be required. The successful candidate will hold an active NP license, work independently and with teams, and adhere to HIPAA and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with a valid and unrestricted NP license.
• Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Familiarity with medical disability evaluations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations for veterans.
• Review medical records, tests, and documentation to form opinions.
• Prepare clear VA-compliant medical opinions and reports.
• Travel up to 10% to support other Loyal Source clinics.
