Job summary

State of New Hampshire's Veterans Home in Tilton, NH is hiring Food Service Workers. Multiple full-time positions with schedules including 5:30am–2:00pm or 10:30am–7:15pm; weekend shifts available with an additional $2/hour.

You will assist in serving and preparing nutritionally balanced meals, maintain sanitation, and help with trays, dining rooms, and kitchen areas. Training provided; compensation package includes state benefits.

Qualifications

• 8th grade education required.
• Must possess clean personal health and sanitation habits.

Responsibilities

• Participates in preparation for and setup of individual trays for food distribution.
• Sets up for meal service, takes orders, serves residents, and cleans dining rooms.
• Operates dishwashing and other kitchen equipment.
• Assists with passing and collecting trays and cleaning tables in dining areas.
• Stocks work areas and kitchenettes; keeps floors clean.
