Responsibilities

• Prepares and sets up individual trays for food distribution.
• Sets up meal service, takes orders, serves residents, cleans dining areas.
• Operates dishwashing, food disposal, toaster, and heat-on-demand units.
• Assists with tray passing, collecting trays, and cleaning dining tables and chairs.
• Stocks work areas and unit kitchenettes.
• Cleans dining rooms, kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• May assist in cooking or food prep as directed by cooks or dietary staff.
• Trains new employees as required.
• Performs extra cleaning tasks as directed by shift leaders or diet management.
• May participate in receiving, documenting, and tray prep for regular and special diets.
