The Department of Veterans Service seeks a Veterans Claims & Appeals Officer I to advocate for veterans in the VA benefits appeals process. You will review denied claims, assemble evidence, and draft briefs for hearings with VBA, BVA, or higher courts.

Must hold a bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience; knowledge of VA regulations and medical evidence is essential. A valid driver’s license, NAC-I clearance, and PIV card are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of professional job-related experience.
• Knowledge of VA regulations and benefits processes.
• Strong understanding of medical conditions related to military service.
