Job summary

True Vet Solutions is seeking a compassionate Appeals Specialist to guide veterans and their families through VA disability claims, identify errors, and craft persuasive appeals.

As part of a remote-first team—covering the USA—you’ll review rating decisions, draft Supplemental Claims and Higher-Level Reviews, and maintain precise case tracking to meet deadlines. Ideal candidates have strong writing, attention to detail, and at least 5 years of sales experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and professional writing skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic internet tools.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review VA Rating Decisions and C&P exams.
• Draft Supplemental Claims and Higher-Level Reviews.
• Analyze medical and service records.
• Communicate with Veterans regarding evidence needs.
• Maintain accurate case tracking and deadlines.
