Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of professional job-related experience.
• Military veteran status or extensive experience working with military or veteran populations.
• Knowledge of VA regulations and benefits processes.
• Ability to read, review, analyze and research a veteran's entire file with critical thinking and problem solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent veterans during VA benefits appeals and draft formal briefs.
• Present appeals at hearings and guide clients through timeline and procedures.
• Stay current on VA laws, regulations and precedent decisions.
